When it comes to pregnancy, birth and postpartum, the old saying “It takes a village” can no longer be true. Getting older is a profound journey full of joy, challenges and new experiences.
My transition to motherhood was difficult and lonely. When I got a second chance, I opened for support. I had a great team on my side during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
My transition to motherhood was a challenge in many ways: I was a lot sick during pregnancy, had a traumatic non-planned C section and postpartum depression and fear. I felt lonely but didn’t know how to ask for help. Unfortunately, women are conditioned to do it all and well without complaining. This is the story that we have integrated.
After healing the experience, I decided it was time for a second chance. When I got pregnant again, I knew I wanted to do things differently. The biggest shit for me was to accept that I needed help. This is the female energy that open to receive. When I felt ready to take this step, I decided to work with an obstetrician, a birth -doula and a postpartum Doula.
Wherever you are on your maternity journey, I invite you to think about your support system and what you can do to receive more. Although the needs of each family are unique, having a team of trusted professionals on your side can make the difference to guarantee a self -assured and supported journey of pregnancy through Postpartum.
The first thing that has to happen is your decision to receive. You have to lean completely on your female energy and ask for help. If you are ready to take this step, but don’t know where to start, I would like to recommend a trusted team of professionals who can support you during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
