Do you have a strong community? Do you have people to help you, encourage you to live with life? Although we always need the community and often considered it for granted, 2020 certainly helped us the importance of community In our lives. We realized how lonely we had no interaction with friends and extensive family. We realized that the online church was simply not the same. We crave human interaction and touch.

Why is community important?

Why is it important to be part of a community? Yes, it’s nice to have friends and such, but do you really need a community? First of all, the Bible tells us that we have to live with others in the community. There are also many benefits to communicate with others in our lives.

Living in the community gives us a better sense of well -being and helps us to live more satisfied lives. Community urges us to be more than we could ever be alone and gives us a feeling of goal and to belong.

What does the Bible say about the community?

The Bible actually has quite a lot to say about the community. Sometimes we think that we do not need others in our lives and that life is better without the drama that others bring. More and again we are told to love others, encourage others, help others and build others. How can you do that if you don’t have an interaction with others? You can’t do it.

Let’s look at a key Bible verses about community. This first is definitely a memory that we have to meet each other and encourage each other.

“And let’s consider how we can generate each other to love and work well, Not negligible to meet each other, just like the habit of some, but encourage each other, and all the more when you see the day approaching. “Hebrews 10: 24-25 ESV

” That there may be no distribution in the body, but that the members have the same care for each other. If a member suffers, they all suffer together; If a member is honored, they all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individual members of it. ‘1 Corinthians 12: 25-27

I like how the early church treated each other. I feel that this would be the ultimate community and we have to strive for our lives here today. No, I am not going to go to the neighbors, but how can we use our means to help others more? Who can we invite to share a meal?

‘And everyone who believed were together and had all the things in common. And they sold their possessions and assets and distributed the proceeds to everyone, as everyone needed. And day after day, attend the temple together and breaking bread in their houses, they received their food with happy and generous hearts, God prices and favor with all people. And the Lord added day after day to their number that were saved. ‘Acts 2: 44-47

‘Keep enjoying each other because love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to each other without grumbling. Since everyone has received a gift, use it to serve each other, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: ” 1 Peter 4: 8-10

“Iron squeezes iron and one man sharpens the other.” Proverbs 27:17

As followers of Christ, we certainly need others in our lives. It is not only what God wants from us, but view the following Benefits of community.

The importance of the pinable image of the community that laughs 3 women.

The importance of community: important benefits

I have already talked a bit about why community is important, but there are quite a few other benefits of community in our lives. I think we often consider community for granted, but speaking from experience, if you don’t have a family and you have an emergency, it’s great to be able to have people who want to help you! I even had help from people I didn’t know because they knew how important it was to show the love of Christ by helping people in need.

Living in the community gives us:

  • Connections With others. We don’t have to feel alone.
  • Support when we need it.
  • Safety and security.
  • Positive influence. Well, this is the case if you are in a positive community. That is why it is important to have divine good friends.

The importance of community involvement

Living in the community gives many personal benefits, but it is also important to realize that community involvement helps the community as a whole. Communities grow and bloom as more of us get involved. Why is community involvement important?

  • Gives more perspectives than yours. God each made us in a different way. We all see things differently and think differently. This gives a problem more perspectives than just yours.
  • Advantages and helps others in the community. While you are concerned, others are hit.
  • Delivers more creative and more effective solutions for problems. Working together offers better solutions for problems that influence the group.

Community for mothers

As a mother who stays at home, it is especially important for you to build community in your life. If you’re not careful especially if you are an introvertYou will spend your days at home or do your shopping with your children. You will not set yourself up there to make friends with people in your church or in your area. You will feel lonely and forgotten.

On the other hand, once you see that God longs for the community and that it will benefit you in so many ways, you start investing yourself. You will then be encouraged, strengthened and validated in your role as a mother. You have others to ask for advice or to help you solve problems. You have help if you need it. You have friends to push yourself into your faith.

Here are some great ways to find a community as a mother. It can be difficult, but it is worth it!

  • Pugs. Mops International (Mothers of toddlers) is a great way to make contact with other mothers in your area. As a young mother I loved my time in pugs.
  • Become a member of a Bible study such as one in your church or Bible study Fellowship (BSF). Many churches have a Bible study for women you could do with. A Bible study gives your community and community and increases your knowledge of God and His Word.
  • Go consistently to a neighborhood park or another community area. Don’t be afraid to start conversations with those who are there. After a while you might find a good friend.
  • Practice Hospitality. Don’t be afraid to invite a neighbor for coffee.
  • Online communities. There are many Facebook -Christian mother groups or even online Bible studies. An online Bible study gives you the chance to communicate with others. Facebook groups also offer this opportunity, but I would not use it to replace in personal community. Mom groups in particular can give a little more help with certain issues or seasons of life, but real community is the best.

Find community

Do you already have a community in your life? Do you have friends or family who help you when you need it, encourage you in your walk with God and come next to you in your parenthood? If this is not the case, use some of these suggestions to find like -minded mothers and even older women to build relationships. The psalmist had a good time when he said:
