Unless your menstruation is irregular, it’s so easy to predict when your next period will occur.

But, if you want to track your period and don’t want to literally count the days, there are lots of other ways to do it, and one efficient way is to use period tracker apps!

Many of these period tracker apps don’t only track when your period is due, but also can track your ovulation and fertility cycles (which is handy if you are TTC!), your hormonal symptoms plus other health insights. They are also very useful for if your period suddenly goes haywire, because you can log your periods and symptoms to share with your doctor.

We asked you to tell us about your favourite period trackers on our Facebook page and upon reading the responses, we came up with this list. So, here are 15 useful period tracker apps. All of them can be downloaded for free!

1. Flo

Most of the women who commented on our Facebook post said they’re using Flo to track their period. And that’s not surprising at all as, according to the developers of the app, it’s the most downloaded Health and Fitness app worldwide and the most popular in the same category in the United States. Apart from that, it has already been featured by different known brands, such as Vogue, Glamour, Women’s Health, and Cosmopolitan, among others. This is a great app as you can do a lot in here.

Features:

  • Track your period
  • Predict your ovulation
  • Birth control pills reminder
  • Pregnancy mode
  • Symptoms logging
  • Health insights
  • Health assistant
  • Cycle analysis

2. Clue

Clue is an app that’s recommended by several obstetricians and gynecologists. Its approach is straightforward and scientific, making it all based on facts alone. The good thing about this app is it’s extensive and informative. It doesn’t rely only on assumptions but on the symptoms you input in the app. Meaning, if you’re having mood swings, it will not say it’s hormonal, it will check if it indeed is. It gives accurate tracking, making it reliable.

Features:

  • Track your period
  • Track your mood and health
  • Discover patterns in your cycle
  • Cycle predictions
  • Set tracking reminders

With that, he won’t be clueless as to why you’re being so emotional, mad, or distant and will hopefully give you the support you need.
