Fresh

Write a few verses on index cards and set them or stick them where you see them. Read and meditate On them when you see them. You could write down verses that have recently come to you, verses that have to do with a struggle that you have, or just verses that have to do with God’s character or promises. If you want, you can even use a computer program to make them beautiful. By studying verses, you can concentrate more on God.

Listen to Scripture

There are many apps with which you can listen to the Bible. I use youversion, but there are also many others. Some apps even add a small drama or music to the lecture. Just let the Bible read in the background while you continue your day, will help you learn what God says.

Short devotional time

Find a short devotional To read with your children at breakfast, or maybe a devotional or a Bible plan before bed. We do a bit of both at our house. There are also a number of great devotionals for mothers, including my recently released Encouragement in the trenches of motherhood! Remember Verze

Perhaps you have learned verses as a child in Awana, Church of School, but it is still a large spiritual discipline to also include Bible Memorization as an adult. Your fresh cards can be useful for this or use an app such as hunting verses, which is my personal favorite. This app is just a few dollar“ And encourages a few verses every week. There are even quizzes and songs to help! Bible memory is a great way to spend time with God.

Keep tools accessible

Keep your Bible, devotional and perhaps a diary with a pen easily accessible, whether on a table or in a basket at your favorite chair. Make a special time to be alone with God, or fit it when you take care of your baby. If time with God is a priority, it will work. I spent many years with God while taking care of a baby, but now I spend some time after breakfast while I enjoy my coffee or tea.
