Yes, I bought a shirt to solidify it. Don’t judge me.
Anywho …
To be honest, I stated this year that it is about getting out of new adventures, for which I am not eligible on paper. But for God all things are possible in Him. So oneMen on that.
The courage has been put on my heart since the beginning of 2020. I have already made several jumps of courage starting this blog and blogging. But Back to the point …
Courage
According to Webster, courage is:
- mental or moral strength for venturepersist and resistant to danger, anxiety or difficulty
- Synonyms: heart, courage, virtue, spirit, tenacity, resolution
- Contradictions: cowardice, weakness, shyness, fear, hesitation, indecision
Courage for you is:
- Say yes to the things you really want.
- Requesting the promotion at work to place you and your family in a better position.
- Say no to things that your bigger goal will not serve.
- Set a budget and if no one else live, so that you can live like no one else.
- Finally people tell what is really going on instead of saying, “It’s going well!”
- Educate your children differently than your elderly did.
- Conducting conversations and setting limits with people who abuse you.
- Try love again after a devastating separation.
- Leave the American business community to start your business or to stay at home more.
Courage appears in many ways for women, but the most important thing is that it appears as a gift from God. He gives us the power and boldness to get out despite our fears because we know who we are in him.
This is why Jesus showed so much courage to enter the cross because he had so much clarity about who he was and what he was on this earth to do. Yes, he felt all the emotions, fear and wanted to run, but he kept the final goal in focus.
Dealing with lack of courage
While I write this message, I think of all the courageous actions that are performed in the Bible and in my life. However, I also think of the people around me, in my family and in my communities, who struggle with the idea of getting out in faith and doing something courageous. I can even remember my own defect on several occasions in the last 32 years of my life. The first time I noticed that taking my courage was shortly after I became a mother.
Single motherhood can be constantly standing of discomfort, fear of leaving the comfort zone and many courageous acts daily. The fear that comes from these situations can lead us to slavery (as my predecessor Erica MooreSo over again and again preaches to the women of my house church). Slavery comes with wasted time, talents, gifts and spirit (2 Samuel 22:46), which God never designs for us to live in such a way.
Everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear. – George Addar
In reality, the only way through fear, slavery and discomfort to do something to do something you have never done before.

What causes a lack of courage?
Like any other person who may struggle with the idea of getting out. With fear of looking foolish, failure or even succeeding, how do you know that these things will actually happen?
Fear is the most important culprit of a lack of courage. Fear is:
- The feeling of messing up
- The feeling of failing
- the thought that you are not good or qualified
Fear does not do anything alone. It brings doubt, Imposier syndrome, inadequacy, uncertainty, inferiority and paralysis side by side.
But remember, fear is false evidence that really seems. Don’t be fooled, girl!

You are afraid of something that has not even happened yet. These fears can be a fragment of your imagination or real worries. The enemy likes to be insecure, unbalanced and on the edge to ensure that you become paralyzed by nothing. In this state you cannot be brave or see things clear.
Moreover, another enemy comes to silent, killing and destroying. This enemy is a delay, which is often rooted in fear, uncertainty and/or laziness.

One last thing before we dive into the Bible verses …
Why is courage important for the Christian walk?
The Bible is full of people who have received the courage to live life as God intended. People who considered the world unqualified, such as David, Daniel, Paul, Esther and more. Our call if a body of Christ is:
- Take your cross and Folllow Jesus. (Matthew 16:24 NL)
- Be fruitful and multiplied. (Genesis 1:22 NLT)
- Love the Lord, your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6: 5 NLT)
- Go outside and make disciples. (Matthew 28:19 NL)
- I love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39 NL)
And we need something to live out all those orders.
Courage was mentioned more than 116 times in the Bible; Therefore, why not finding out what he says about it, because it seems like God knew that we would struggle with it. However, he also knows that we can be courageous. Below is a small but powerful list of writings that will help you go to a life of boldness with God.
